Overview
Unlocking or unpairing a modpack in Modrinth allows users to refine their Minecraft experience. When a modpack is unpaired, it is disassociated from the official link, granting users the freedom to make personalized modifications. On the other hand, unlocking a modpack permits modifications while maintaining an official link for updates, offering users the flexibility to address compatibility issues, optimize performance, and tailor gameplay to their preferences.
How to Unlock a Modrinth Modpack
Step 1. From the Modrinth Launcher, go to the Library tab.
Step 2. Choose the desired official modpack.
Step 3. Go to the Options tab.
Step 4. Under the Modpack setting, click the Unlock button.
