Where Do Minecraft Camels Spawn?

Many players expected camels to naturally spawn in deserts only to wonder why they never see them around. So, today we answer the question where do Minecraft Camels Spawn? It turns out finding them is not as easy as it sounds!

Minecraft Camels Spawn Locations

As mentioned prior, Minecraft camels do not spawn naturally in desert biomes. Instead, one camel spawns within each newly generated desert village. This means those seeking two camels for breeding will need to locate two separate desert villages.

Once found, up to two players can ride a camel using a saddle, leads can be used to move them about, and they are healed with cactus if damaged.

How to Breed Camels

Camels are bred using cacti. Simply feed two camels some cactus, and a baby camel will appear to say hello to the world.

We recommend collecting cactus while searching for the two desert villages. This will leave you with an abundance by the time two camels have been found.
