Overview
Whitelisting a Minecraft server provides users an extra layer of security that only adding a password doesn't provide. With a server whitelist, server owners and admins can curate the members on their servers personally, allowing access to only specific individuals. This prevents the possibility of a password leak to unauthorized users and can help foster a community with trustworthy users.
