Overview
ViaVersion is a plugin for Minecraft that allows players to connect to servers using different game versions, bridging compatibility gaps between newer and older releases. Requirement: ViaVersion requires Spigot/Paper, Bukkit, or Cardboard servers.
How To Allow Players to Connect from Any Version on a Minecraft Server
Step 1. Download ViaVersion for modern client versions like 1.21.x
to connect to older server versions like 1.8.x

Step 2. Download ViaBackwards for client versions 1.9.x
- 1.20.x
to connect to server versions 1.10
- 1.21.x
. ViaBackwards requires ViaVersion with a compatible version.
Step 3. Download ViaRewind for client versions 1.7.x

to connect to server versions 1.8.x
-1.21.x
. ViaRewind requires ViaBackwards with a compatible version.
Note: Players with older client versions joining modern servers may experience missing content.
Step 4. Log in to the Meloncube Games panel.
Step 5. Stop the server.
Step 6. Go to the Files tab on the left.
Step 7. Choose the plugins folder.
Step 8. Drag and drop the .jar files from Steps 1-3.
Step 9. Start the server.
