So, today, we explore five Minecraft secrets few have ever seen.

The Lone Wolf

With all the wolf variants added in Minecraft 1.20.6, players quickly noticed one kind in particular spawned alone. However, despite searching, they were rarely spotted in the frigid biome they called home. Those with the goal of taming this rare wolf would need to find a grove biome where the lone snowy wolf blends in perfectly with the snow.

Rainbow Sheep

Everyone knows dying a sheep changes the color of its wool, but what about a method to make the sheep cycle through every color year-round? Using a name tag renamed to “jeb_” and placing it on a sheep can do just that! But don’t expect anything special from its sheered wool, which remains exactly the color it was before.

Bed Mining

When attempting to use a bed in the nether, it will explode, unknowingly resulting in one of the best ancient debris mining methods available. This means that with nothing more than a sheep farm, some wood, and blast protection armor, the nether can be blown to pieces in search of ancient debris at next to no cost at all. Ancient debris are also resistant to explosions, ensuring none are lost!

Blue Axolotl

Four colors of axolotl can spawn naturally out in the world, including pink, brown, gold, and cyan. However, there is also a fifth color that few will ever see. Anytime two axolotls have a baby, there is a 1/1200 chance it will be born blue. Who knew?

Dinnerbone

The final secret is similar to rainbow sheep but works on all mobs. Using a name tag renamed to “Dinnerbone” or “Grumm” and placing it on a mob will cause it to turn upside down. This is especially humorous on large bosses or horses.

Five Minecraft Secrets Few Know

Our list of secrets has come to a close, and hopefully, they were fun facts that were not already known! But even if they were, may their discovery or rediscovery lead to some fun, especially when showing them to friends or those you love.

Until Next Time,

MelonCube Hosting =)

Over Minecraft’s many years, countless secrets and easter eggs have been discovered that can add some fun or optimize play.
